At this coffee shop, random acts of kindness top the menu
This concept of paying it forward is really worth putting some thought on. Not sure if I would do the same and just leave a tap on at a coffee house, but would love to adopt that concept to help the people in need, other than just via the usual money donations to the charities.
If you haven't seen the movie 'Pay it Forward', you should definitely check it out! A well inspiring movie.
